Golden Marine Systems played a pivotal role in the ambitious waterfront revitalization project undertaken by The City of Leesburg, Florida. The project, situated on the serene Venetian Gardens along Lake Harris, aimed to expand public boating access and enhance recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike. Golden Marine Systems provided a combination of fixed and floating docks, each meticulously crafted to offer durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
For the fixed dock component, Golden supplied 980 square feet of its 9 Series Aluminum Dock System, which included safety handrails. This system, designed for wider piling spacing compared to traditional wooden structures, not only offered cost savings to the city but also enhanced the visual appeal from both the shore and the water. Manufactured to stringent ISO 9001:2015 standards using marine-grade aluminum and stainless steel fittings, these docks boast a remarkable lifespan of over 35 years, backed by a 10-year limited warranty.
Complementing the fixed docks, Golden’s 850 Series Aluminum Dock System was employed for the floating dock section. Known for its stability and premium build quality, this system featured adjustable pile guides, cleats, main docks, finger piers with power pedestals, water service, and a fire suppression solution. The inclusion of WearDeck Composite decking further ensured low maintenance requirements while maintaining the aesthetic charm of real wood.
