Restoring A Fort Myers Beach Landmark

Located on Fort Myers Beach with convenient and direct boating access to the Gulf of Mexico, the former Bonita Bill’s waterfront property has been transformed into a modern marina facility designed to serve today’s boating community. As part of the redevelopment, the aging fixed timber dock system was replaced with 30 new slips utilizing Golden Marine Systems’ advanced 850 Series single-track floating dock system, delivering enhanced durability, functionality, and long-term performance in a demanding coastal environment.

Golden Marine Systems also supplied and installed four new gangways to provide safe, efficient, and ADA-friendly access throughout the marina. The floating dock system is finished with premium Weardeck composite decking, selected for its exceptional longevity, low-maintenance characteristics, and superior resistance to the harsh marine elements. Additional features include GMS 12-inch adjustable cleats and heavy-duty pile guides, providing secure vessel mooring, operational flexibility, and reliable performance for boaters navigating one of Southwest Florida’s premier waterfront destinations.
